The client wanted to retain the wooden floor from her previous home because the timber was still in excellent condition. As the boards differed in length and width, they were carefully measured, adjusted and cut to size before being relaid in the new home.
On the upper floor of VRIJDAG in Groningen city centre, Farwood clad the relevant walls with custom-fitted wooden panels around large windows, corners and structural elements.
Old bathtub removed, surrounding structure adapted and a new bath installed and finished to match the existing bathroom.
